A few weeks ago there had been many rumors related to security accounts for iMessage for our iDevices. Basically in the case of theft, loss or selling an iDevice, the messages sent through iMessage arrived even on that lost or sold if the user used the SIM card with phone number in another device. Apple has not acknowledged the existence of the problem but many users have encountered and found a few ways even made sure that sent messages through iMessage get where was needed.
Macworld can confirm that perhaps the easiest way to ensure that a stolen phone stops receiving iMessages is to remotely wipe the phone, and then call your carrier and instruct them to deactivate your old SIM. The third and final step? Activate a new SIM in your new phone.
The first method involves performing a wipe remote Find My iPhone interface and deactivate the old SIM icloud but this procedure involves contacting the operator to change SIM. If you are not tempted by this option when there is a much simpler: set a PIN for your SIM card. By performing this step will ensure that all messages go only to the device in which you inserted the SIM card but you have to be careful not to forget the PIN.
Some argue that a simple restore and login of Apple ID to another device to fix the problem but not at everyone has happened so. Finally you have three ways you can ensure that messages sent by iMessage and will not reach where you can only choose one that interests you.
